As part of it’s ongoing environmental efforts, Addooco are delighted to announce we are now certified with PAS2060, which confirms we are officially a carbon neutral organisation.
For some time, Addooco have been committed to understanding our carbon footprint across our business and already hold ISO14001 Environmental Management certification.
In order to achieve our carbon neutral status, Addooco’s team worked together to review all sustainability and procurement procedures and to provide information on the business’ activities, including water supply, electricity purchased, waste generated, staff’s commuting and business travel.
Paul Walters, Head of Operations, said “This is wonderful news for Addooco, our many clients and for any business considering working with us. Around 18 months ago we identified PAS2060 and carbon neutral certification which we felt would further enhance our environmental commitments. Throughout this period, our team has worked tirelessly on identifying our carbon footprint and streamlining our internal processes. This has enabled Addooco to reach a point whereby the business has a small measure of carbon to offset this year and then a solid plan to reduce our emissions in the future.
Paul went on to add “I am delighted with the engagement and responsibility our team have demonstrated throughout this process and we’re all very proud to be officially recognised as a carbon neutral organisation.
